Immersive VR Experience to assess construction hazard recognition skills and reinforce safety training and habits

Mobile VR Platform

Easy deployment to jobsites

WHY?

Construction is one of the most dangerous work environments

In order to protect those on the field from the various hazards that surround them on a daily basis, continuous training and reminders need to be enforced. When workers learn to recognize potentially hazardous situations, they can voice their concerns to address them on the spot.

HOW?

Using mobile Virtual Reality headsets

Immersing workers in a virtual jobsite enables a deeper level of assessment on comprehension and retention of the traditional safety training materials. More importantly, virtual reality allows for holding multiple sessions with each worker and asking them to identify highly hazardous situations without exposing them to at-risk conditions.

COLLECTING DATA TO VALIDATE TRAINING

Each VR session provides the safety and training teams with data on which hazards were identified most and which were the least. Having that information and cross-referencing them with statistical data on incidents, at-risk observations, and near-misses can uncover trends and aid in creating more targeted training materials.

target is 0 incidents

HERO will provide invaluable data to ensure safety training is effective in mitigating all at-risk scenarios. The platform will also emphasize the push to enhance communication and enable workers to voice concerns when they see at-risk conditions “See Something, Say Something.”
